Murdered by Pregent Girl Friend Verna Irwin and three brothers Mack, Horce and Forrest. Over 400 people showed for the "Inquest", which had to be held outside, due to the courthouse being too small. Medical Examiner, Dr. George C. Pettigrew. (who later married Mary M. Patterson), testified.
