Rock Hill --Mr. Wallace Gordon "Smokey" Blaylock, 69, of 1913 Parkwood Dr, died Monday,
Dec 17, 2001 at Piedmont Medical Center.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Hills Cemetery, with the Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating.
A native of Chester county, Mr. Blaylock was a retired security officer at the Rock Hill Galleria. He was a machinist and doffer in several area mills. and attended Oakdale Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Lavon Anthony; his son, Randy Anthony of Rock Hill; his daughter, Linda A. Massey of Rock Hill; three brothers, Tom Blalock, Jerry Blalock and Melvin Blalock, all of the Charleston area; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel.
