Alford "Slim" served in the US Army during World War ll and later during the Korean War he served in the US Air Force. He worked as a doffer for Springs Industries and retired from Randolph Yarn, Inc. He was a member of Sisk Memorial Baptist Church and services were by Revs.Jerry Devinney and Jim Herron. "Slim" was Survived by two step-children --Ed Casey of Rock Hill, SC and Sandra Thrift Price of Wilson, NC. He had 10 grand-children and 12 g-grand children.
