Mrs. Primrose Chapin
Mrs Primrose Chapin, 93, of East Flat Rock , died Friday in Pardee Hospital after a brief illness.
A lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Lovis McCall Evans. Mrs. Chapin McCall was a member of the Hendersonville First Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. J.C. Warlick of East Flat Rock, three sons, Guy L. and George S. Chapin of Hendersonville and Richard T. Chapin of Black Mountain; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in Shepherd's Church Street Chapel. The Rev. T.G. Proctor will officiate. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tom Evans, Harvey Raines, Ralph and Larry McKinna, Charles Ronald Stepp and Harold E. Capps.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Thos. Shepherd and Son Funeral Directors, Hendersonville.
