Brevard - Guy E. Hollingsworth of 1214 Pinebrook Circle, Hendersonville, died Tuesday, Dec 13, 1988, at the Brian Center after a period of declining health.
A lifelong resident of Henderson county, he was a son of the late Joseph P. & Jennings Amelia Thompson Hollingsworth. He was a retired self-employed plumber and a member of first Baptist Church.

Survivors include the wife, Leneave Scroggs Hollingsworth; a son Barry Hollingsworth of Hendersonville; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 11am Friday at Oakdale Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Corn officiating. Thomas Shepherd & Son Funeral Directors in charge.
