Loran Markham, 90, of Clarendon Avenue, died Sunday October 31, 1993.
He was born in Hendersonville, NC, Jan 12, 1903, a son of Mitchell M. and Roxie
Patterson Markham, employed by the Veterans Administration before his retirement.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Sheperd and had served in the United States Navy.
Surviving are his wife, Ida Rice Markham, of the home; one daughter, Evelyn Lorraine Baldwin of Greenville; two sisters, Virgie Cooper and Thalia Thompson, both of Simpsonville; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 3 pm in Memorial Mausoleum at
Woodlawn Memorial Park by Rev. Calvin Vick.
The family is at the residence, but will receive friends at The Mackey Mortuary
Monday from 7 until 8 pm
It is requested that flowers be ommitted and memorials made to the Lutheran Church of the Good Sheperd, 1601 N. Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville, SC 29609
