Roy W. Strain, 86, of Zephyrhills, Florida and formerly of Terre Haute died Thursday, August 17 in East Pasco Midical Center at Zephyrhills.
He was a former teacher in Clay County and Royal Oaks, Michigan. He was born June 21, 1903 in Clay County to Mr and Mrs. Charles Strain.
Survivors include his wife, Mildera Strain, Two sons, Robert T. of Zephyrhills and Dr. James J. of New York City; Two sisters, Mildred Unger of Indianapolis and Grace Fritz of Illinois; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was a graduate of Indiana State University and was a charter member of Meals on Wheels at Zephyrhills. Services were in Oalkey Funeral Home at Zephyrhills. Memorial services are scheduled for October.
Burial - October 1989, Sprinkled ashes into the Atlantic Ocean.
